GREENROOFS® by ANCV attended the 13th European Urban Resilience Forum – EURESFO 2026, held from 17 to 19 June in Guimarães, European Green Capital 2026.

EURESFO 2026 brought together city representatives, experts and European organisations to discuss key topics such as climate adaptation, risk management and urban resilience, promoting knowledge exchange and solutions for cities better prepared to face climate challenges.

ANCV was represented by its President, Eng. Paulo Palha, who took part in the thematic session “Financing for Nature-Based Solutions on Private Land”, held on 17 June, in a participatory fishbowl discussion format.

During this discussion, Eng. Paulo Palha represented GREENROOFS® by ANCV, the GoNaturePositive! project and the European Federation of Green Roof and Green Wall Associations (EFB), contributing to the debate on financing, incentives and public-private collaboration models to accelerate the implementation of Nature-Based Solutions on private land.

ANCV’s participation reinforced the importance of green roofs, green walls and other green infrastructure as essential solutions to promote more resilient, sustainable and climate-adapted cities.
