On May 22 and 23, the auditorium of Casa da Seda, in Bragança (Portugal) will host the seminar “Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) as tools for ecosystem valorization and restoration.”

This in-person event will provide a space for knowledge sharing, experience exchange, and discussion, bringing together experts to explore the challenges and opportunities of NbS in promoting more sustainable and resilient territories.

The seminar is aimed at professionals, researchers, and students in the fields of sustainability, ecology, and environmental management, offering a valuable opportunity to deepen knowledge and strengthen collaboration networks.

The National Association of Green Roofs (ANCV) will be present on both days of the seminar.
On May 22, ANCV’s Vice-President, Prof. Dr. Cristina Calheiros, will lead the workshop “Nature-Based Solutions: practical application of floating islands in river ecosystems.”
On May 23, ANCV will deliver the presentation “Creating Resilient Cities: The Role of Green Roofs and Green Façades in Urban Environments,” featuring Executive Coordinator Isabella Costa.
