The European Federation of Green Roof and Living Wall Associations (EFB) and the World Green Infrastructure Network (WGIN) have launched a new European guidance document supporting policymakers and key stakeholders in translating EU legislation into effective national measures, accelerating the uptake of green roofs and green walls across Europe.

The document clearly explains how EU legislation can contribute to achieving climate, biodiversity, and sustainability objectives, and provides practical guidance for implementing these legal frameworks, including the deployment of solutions such as green roofs, green walls, and other nature-based solutions.
