“Creating Resilient Cities: The Importance of Green Roofs in Water Management”

The National Association of Green Roofs (ANCV) will be at Greenfest Braga 2025 with an unmissable talk on green roofs. Professor Ana Cristina Rodrigues, a member of the ANCV Board, will lead a 20-minute session highlighting how green roofs and façades play a key role in sustainable urban water management.

The session will explore the role of green roofs in sustainable water management in cities, showcasing their environmental, social, and economic benefits. It will demonstrate how these Nature-Based Solutions contribute to more resilient cities and help build a better future for generations to come.
