The SusTEC Associated Laboratory (IPB), in partnership with the municipalities of Vinhais, Chaves, Miranda do Douro, Mirandela, and Bragança, is promoting a series of events dedicated to water management in the Northeast of Portugal. On April 23, the “Cities and Infrastructures” Workshop (Workshop 2) took place at the Chaves Cultural Center Auditorium, bringing together national and international experts, policymakers, and key stakeholders in the sector to discuss innovative and sustainable solutions for urban water management.

The Portuguese National Association for Green Roofs (ANCV) was invited to take part in this event, emphasizing the importance of nature-based solutions in urban water management.

Professor Ana Cristina Rodrigues, Member of ANCV’s Board of Directors, represented the Association with her presentation:
“Creating Resilient Cities: The Importance of Green Roofs in Water Management”.
